Graduation Application Instructions
For eDegree Students
**The below specific instructions are for eDegree-designated students ONLY. If you were enrolled in online classes but DID NOT go through the eDegree program, you can disregard these instructions.**
As an eDegree student, your Graduation Application paperwork can be mailed in (read below instructions carefully), and you do not have to come to the GTCC campus.
As the eDegree student, it is your responsibility to contact an advisor and request a Graduation Audit. After doing this, the following steps must be completed.
The Advisor Must:
- Confirm that the student is in the eDegree program by first checking the SSP Dashboard under Service Groups. If information is not clear in SSP or cannot be found, contact eLearning so that the STAL screen in Datatel can be checked.
- Send a verification email to the student confirming that the student has met all the program requirements to earn their degree, and that the program GPA is at least 2.0. This email will serve as verification to the Cashier’s Office and Records Office that the advisor has performed the Graduation Audit. Be sure that the email contains advisor contact information.
- Attach a PDF of the Program Evaluation to the email..
The Student Must:
- Print the verification email and Program Evaluation from the advisor, ensuring that the advisor’s contact information is in the email.
- Send the completed graduation package—including the printed verification email—and any requisite fees via regular mail to the Cashier’s Office at the address below. The paperwork will not be processed if the verification email is missing.
